Holland reached their third World Cup final – and first since 1978 – by beating Uruguay 3-2 in a nailbiting semi final.

Former Arsenal star Geovanni van Bronckhorst scored an incredible long range goal to give Holland the lead, but ex-Man United striker Diego Forlan struck from distance himself to level things before half-time.

Goals from Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben gave Holland breathing space, but a late Maxi Pereira goal for Uruguay made for a tense finish.
