Awesome new zombie game

Naughty Dog are famous for making those rather pretty and lovely Uncharted games. Mixing cinematic looks with blockbuster action and rock solid gaming, they are without question very, very good at what they do. And while Uncharted 3 eats up the PS3 charts, this is what the devious barstewards have been planning in the background. Probably involving dark meeting rooms with round tables lit up with one spot light. And executive bathrooms.

It's called The Last Of Us and it's a post-apocalyptic zombie shooter that looks for all the world like it's channelling a bit of I Am Legend with a dash of Ellen Page and a soupçon of Dead Island. And please don't tut and roll your eyes at yet another mention of "post-apocalyptic zombie shooter". Yes, we've been burned before, and it's difficult to learn to trust again, but keep the faith, this is Naughty Dog and they have previous. Here be trailer. Chances of disappointment: negligible.
