We know they're not as young as they used to be, but seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone shoulder to shoulder in hospital beds after shooting The Expendables 2, makes us realise that making action movies after 60 is taking it out of them.

Arnie posted the pic online as he extends his cameo from the first movie into a full-blown role alongside its writer and star Sly. He said:

"After all the action, stunts & physical abuse shooting The Expendables 2 and The Last Stand, it was time for a little tune up on my shoulder. Look who was coincidentally waiting in line behind me for his shoulder surgery. Now we're ready for another round of great times and action when we shoot The Tomb. #greattobeback"

Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lungdren and Randy Couture are back, with Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris and Jean Claud Van-Damme completing the legendary line-up.

We can't wait until the August 17 release date.
