Awesome Alan Partridge news!
Not since he was named Radio Times' 'Man of the Moment' back in 1993 have things been so exciting for Norfolk's finest son Alan Partridge. After a broadcasting exodus, Partridge has already returned to form with a side-splitting autobiography and a new telly series, but now more details have emerged about the long-awaited film!
Armando Iannucci (the genius writer behind AP) has just announced that The Alan Partridge Movie is set to start shooting from January 7 2013 and will be released in the UK on August 16 2013. Speaking about the involvement of the French film company StudioCanal, Alan himself said, "This is without doubt the greatest Anglo-French co-operation since the Normandy landings."
