Norwich City Season Preview

Grant Holt
With Norwich fan James Thrower (Nuts.co.uk)

Pre-season form?
It’s been a mixed – lost to Hertha Berlin, a good performance and win against Celtic, and a goalless draw against the mighty MK Dons.

What to look forward to from your club this season:
It would be nice to think that we can continue where we left off last season - playing exciting, attractive football and hopefully causing some of the bigger teams a few problems.

What to worry about:
Delia getting drunk (again!)

Where are you going to finish?
11th

Best/most outrageous transfer rumour
That we still have £12 million to spend on new players! £1.2 million, maybe.

Manager right man for the job?
Yes, it was a shame to see Lambert bugger off so quickly but Chris Hughton’s not a bad replacement.

Player to look out for
Robert Snodgrass – our latest capture/steal from Leeds

Dead wood you would get rid of?
Chris Martin

Game of the season?
With the exception of Man City (who annihilated us last season) I’m looking forward to the big clubs coming to ‘fortress’ Carrow Road.  Man U at home.

Best away day?
With the dirty part of East Anglia languishing in the Championship, my favourite away day is Arsenal (particularly if we can repeat last season’s performance there)

Favourite chant?
It’s got to be the world’s oldest football song – On The Ball, City!

How good are your pies?
Delia’s pies top the league – 10/10

Anything else?
Very happy that Grand Holt (above) has signed a new contract. Goals from the big man will be good be crucial next season.
