New F-Type Jag revealed!
Brit carmaker Jag has been on the back foot a bit recently. With just sturdy, but beautifully bolted-together dad cars in their portfolio, they've been chugging along quietly for years, selling the odd car and raising not a single eyebrow. Until now. With the release of the F-Type, Jag now have a halo car that's gorgeous, ultra-modern and most importantly, enormously desirable supercar.
The all-aluminium, two-seater, front engined, rear-wheel drive sports car will be available in three engine variants, all 3.0 litre: F-Type (bog standard V6, 340PS), F-Type S (V6, 380PS) and F-Type V8 S (V8-engined, 495PS) ranging from £58.500 to £79,950. They'll hit 60mph from a stand in 5.1, 4.8 and 4.2 seconds respectively and hit top speeds of 161mph, 171mph and an electronically limited 186mph.
What else are you after? The "quickshift" transmission is an 8-speed auto. It features an all-aluminium double wishbone front and rear suspension and it looks as pretty as a hot burger sat next to a cold pint. Go look at the gallery and prepare to want.
