Director Kathryn Bigelow and Brit war journalist turned Hollywood screenwriter Mark Boal follow up the awesome Hurt Locker with another conflict thriller following the true story of the hunt for Osama Bin Laden.
Formerly called Codename Geronimo, in reference to the message radioed by the SEAL team who took out the leader of Al-Qaeda, the film has courted controversy but this new trailer has us even more hyped!
Bigelow says the film's title is a military term, "It means 30 minutes after midnight, and refers also to the darkness and secrecy that cloaked the entire decade long mission..."
With a huge ensemble cast featuring Warrior's Joel Edgerton, Kyle Chandler (Super 8), Jessica Chastain, Scott Adkins from Expendables 2 and Brit-bloke Mark Strong, Zero Dark Thirty opens January 25th 2013.
