When Seth Rogen spoke to Nuts last year about his dramedy 50/50 he was already getting excited about his next comedy based on his original 2007 short film Jay & Seth vs the Apocalyspe.

The Mayans got it wrong this week and we're still all here so check out the first red band trailer for Rogen and co-Superbad creator Evan Goldberg's new film where, playing versions of themselves, Seth and his actor mates, including James Franco, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson and Jonah Hill, face up to impending doom and the end of the world the only way slackers can... They hide out eating junk food waiting for help to arrive.

Here's the official lowdown:

The comedy This Is The End follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

Also starring, Michael Cera, Emma Watson and Paul Rudd, This is the End is coming to UK cinemas June 28th.
