We're looking forward to seeing Jim Carrey in Kick Ass 2 this summer and keep 'em peeled for the long awaited sequel to Dumb and Dumber. But before all that the Ace Ventura star rocks up as a David Blaine-esque rock 'n' roll magician making life hell for old school smoke and mirrors conjurer Steve Carell (the incredible Burt Wonderstone) who, with his partner Steve Buscemi, will try anything to bring back the old magic.
Here's the official synopsis:
Superstar magicians Burt Wonderstone (Carell) and Anton Marvelton (Buscemi) have ruled the Las Vegas strip for years, raking in millions with illusions as big as Burt’s growing ego. But lately the duo’s greatest deception is their public friendship - secretly they’ve grown to loathe each other. Facing cutthroat competition from guerilla street magician Steve Gray (Carrey), whose cult following surges with each outrageous stunt, even their show looks stale. But there’s still a chance Burt and Anton can save the act - both onstage and off - if Burt can get back in touch with what made him love magic in the first place.
Also starring Alan Arkin from Argo, Burt Wonderstone is in UK cinemas March 15th.
