Sweet Beemer concept!
So this is Beemer's new £120k Maserati and Bentley killer. Designed by the sharp Italian suits at Pininfarina, it'll most likely end up as their all-new 8 Series and it's a drop-dead gorgeous chunk of saucy machinery. Inside will be a 544bhp, 5,972cc V12 lump, hitting 62mph in 4.5 seconds to a limited 155mph top end. It'll deliver maximum torque at a silly just 1,500rpm, through an 8-speed, flappy paddle auto gearbox.
The interior will be world class, with a finest Italian virgin wool ceiling, frameless doors, an exemplary audio system and human skin-soft leather.
And the best fact of the lot? The centre console's hewn from 48,000-year-old Kauri wood, preserved from a New Zealand swamp. Because who doesn't want swamp-reclaimed wood on their Beemer's dash?
