New Halo game!

Any Halo game announcement is to be approached with unsophisticated and unseemly glee, so prepare to be grinning like a berk in approximately one minute and 18 seconds. For right here is the launch announcement vid of the latest Halo game. Called Halo: Reach, and being made by the original Halo game coder Bungie (rumour is Halo 4 will be given to a different team) this just fantastically good news for any Halo fan anywhere.

The movie's more tease than Dita, is very short, and it's essentially military voice chatter over footage of a planet being taken apart by country-busting armaments. Followed by the title and release date. 

So there, now you know as much about the new Halo game as anyone else in the world. We got hands-on with the brilliant Halo ODST at the E3 games fair in Los Angeles and the Bungie chaps were resolutely and annoyingly schtum about Reach. But hey, it's only a year-and-a-half away (Christmas 2010), that'll come soon enough...
