Dante's Inferno loveliness
GameTrailers.com have managed to bag a sweet gameplay vid/trailer of Electronic Arts' new holy scrapper, Dante's Inferno, an action fighting game cataloguing a virtuous knight's journey through hell, battling all the strange and interesting demon spawn you can pluck from a game developer's twisted mind.
Now clearly a suit in an office a couple of years ago shouted at some lower-level suits to make EA's version of God Of War, and then some other bright spark came up with stapling on a medieval poem about a chap's tour through hell. But the result of such weird and wonderful bedfellows does look remarkably fun. And deliciously violent, especially wielding our man's strange bladed staff/axe/chain-loaded weapon thing.
The hype begins here. The game's out for Christmas. Like all the other good ones, ever.
