Surrogates Trailer

Bruce Willis is back doing what he does best. Playing a hard-boiled cop and kicking ass in a $100m action movie.

Like Watchmen the story has been adapted from a graphic novel and is far from being a routine action flick like Die Hard. Surrogates is set in an alternative present where technology has taken over, allowing people to experience the real world and indulge their fantasies in the safety of their own homes through robotic avatars.

But when android surrogates are hijacked and used to commit a series of murders FBI dude Willis ditches his avatar – to play his cyborg doppleganger superstar slaphead Willis sports a quite fantastic hairpiece! As he enters reality in a bid to save the world, who's real and who can he trust?

Taking a cue from Terminator and The Matrix it's a dark vision of what might be if we let machines take over. No surprise then that it's directed by Jonathan Mostow who, judging by this action packed trailer, is set to make amends for the disappointment of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
