Nuts salutes the troops!

Lovely Lou the sexy secretary fills not one to two Nuts-tastic care packages!

Well, we did it! We only went and did it! After weeks of blagging oodles of stuff for voluntary organisation Parcels Of Care, we got a whole load of shoeboxes, got all our stuff set out in hefty tables, and boxed the whole lot up! Over the coming weeks, over 900 care packages will go out to deserving squaddies in Afghanistan, thanks to the generosity of the likes of Pringles, Andrex, Vimto, Jammie Dodgers, Tesco and loads of other top brands, who all gave us their goods in amazing quantities.

A few more people still deserve our thanks: in the week of Boxing Day, we got a huge consignment of biscuits and snacks from Aldi that went down a storm. Author Ben Shaw sent us a box bulging with copies of his saucy new paperback Fit To F**k which will go down a storm with our boys out there. We managed to carry 300 packets of Monster Munch up onto the tables, but it was tricky as they are truly hefty snacks. And health food chaps Bimuno, Bio-Synergy and 9 Bar practically overwhelmed us with their tasty-but-nutritious nibbles.

And so it was that Team Nuts, along with the likes of Lucy Pinder, Leah Francis, Liana Davis, Emma Glover and India, got stuck into our mound of stuff and turned it into hundreds of happy squaddies.
