Aussie brawler Russell Crowe teams up again with director Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner and Body of Lies) for Gladiator in a UK stylee.

Forget Kevin Costner with a mullet in the average Prince of Thieves because in typical Hollywood fashion this reboot is a gritty origin story. We follow a young archer turned rebel from the army of Richard the Lionheart fighting against Norman invaders before it all kicks off with the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Also stars Cate Blanchett as Maid Marian and go to Brit bad guy Mark Strong (Sherlock Holmes and Kick Ass).
