Jet packs in Halo!

Finally, this is the Halo Reach info bomb we've been awaiting since the game was announced last year. Trailing the upcoming multiplay beta, it's every bit as manic as you'd expect from a Halo multiplayer video and it features fisticuffs, new vehicles, new modes, new weapons and jet packs. JET PACKS!

In fact, there's so much here to ponder, we'd be filling page after page of news, but highlights clearly include the new melée attack (a fist to the stomach and assassination moves), a forward roll avoidance move, new modes (invasion, invasion slayer, headhunter) and new weapons (a high calibre one shot ordnance, some kind of plasma laser weapon and the needler rifle). Not really sure about the jet packs.

So enjoy the vid in all its slightly pixellated glory. Watch it, and watch it again. Then watch it thrice, for it is very, very good. The multiplay beta is open to anyone who bought Halo ODST, and starts on May 3rd the game's out, exclusive to Xbox of course, this Christmas.
