It's the PS-Wii!
Okay, forgive the horribly cheesy vid, but this is the first proper squizz we've had of the PlayStation 3's motion control system, now called PlayStation Move. It's a Wii-like baton that links up with your PS3 and a PlayStation camera to bring motion control to the console. The Eye camera tracks the ball on the top (which changes colour) while clever tech inside the Move tracks all its movement.
Add a nunchuck-style second controller (no ball, more buttons and trigger, and unlike the Wii's nunchuck, no wire) and you've got a two-handed motion control solution that Sony reckon with the combination of better tech and the PS3's whizzy processors deliver a better experience than the Wii's Motion Plus.
Is is true? Only time will tell, and the only conventional game they've announced is special ops shooter SOCOM 4, which Eurogamer reckons works like a dream. It'll be out this autumn, probably for around £50.
