Sweet Brink movie!

None of this is in game footage, but this trailer is a fine barometer for upcoming shooter Brink. Developed by Splash Damage (veterans of such games as Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Basically, if it's got "Enemy Territory" in the title, it's a shoo-in that Splash Damage made it), this gun-lovin' title takes place on The Ark, a floating city surrounded by the waters of a flooded Earth.

The Ark's the venue for a big old war between gangs and police, allowing for co-operative online play between you and seven other chums, behind the eyes of these lovely looking, iconic and hugely customisable avatars.

Looks great so far. It's out – you guessed it – in time for Christmas on – you guessed again! – PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
