Will Ferrell (from Anchorman and, er, Elf) is howlingly funny as the stupendously stupid redneck driver Ricky Bobby, in this hysterical p*ss-take of America's NASCAR racing championship. But it's our very own Sacha Baron Cohen – yep, Ali G and Borat – who steals the film, camping it up as a preposterously French driver keen to get his hands on Ferrell's gearstick. Races to pole-position as the funniest film of the year so far.
