TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING

How did Leatherface turn into such a skin-slicing, chainsaw-wielding freakoid? Are all Texan hicks flesh-gobbling inbreds? And where can they buy chainsaws in the middle of nowhere? This 1969-set prequel provides some of the answers when a bunch of naive teenagers, bound for Vietnam, find themselves in a far worse situation than playing Russian roulette in Saigon. Not a patch on the original, but still horribly gruesome and has enough cack-yourself moments to keep your pulse pounding.
