Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s the new Lois Lane. This flame-haired fox, Amy Adams has just been cast in the new Superman film – coming out in 2012 - playing a part that Terri Hatchett nailed back in the 1993 TV series. We’ve got a sneaky suspicion that this girl’s going to do a pretty great job too though - have you seen her?! Born to a semi-professional bodybuilding mother and a father who sang in restaurants, we guess you could say she came from a talented family…sort of. Thirty-six-year-old Amy got her career moving in 1999 when she appeared in black comedy Drop Dead Gorgeous. Since then she’s wowed us in such visual treats as Catch Me if you Can, Enchanted and last year’s blockbuster, The Fighter. Amy worked in Hooters before she got into acting. It was only for three weeks, but gee whiz what a great three weeks they must have been.
