The 24 year old brunette babe Leighton Meester didn’t really have the best start in life: her mum was serving time in a Texas prison for her part in a drug ring when Leighton was born. But, there’s no stopping the American beauty who’s most famous for her role in the woman friendly show, Gossip Girl. She’s also appeared in many other American drama’s such as CSI, House, and the excellent Entourage.
More recently Meester has been filming some movies: the Roommate being a highlight where she plays a totally psychotic girl and stalks/drives her roommate (played by Minka Kelly.... Google her) insane. Nice.
Crazy (on screen) she may be. Hot, definitely. A weird name? For sure. But she might just make watching Gossip Girl (if you’re coerced into it by your sister or girlfriend) that little bit easier.
