Born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 15 1990, Jennifer Lawrence burst onto the big screen in 2008, holding her own alongside silver-screen hotties Charlize Theron and Kim Basinger in glossy drama Burning Plain.
Her breakout role came in last year's indie drama Winter's Bone for which she bagged herself a well-deserved Oscar nomination for Best Actress. Sending jaws crashing to the floor by hitting the red carpet in a stunning, figure-hugging dress, it's a mystery to us how she didn't win!
Next up for Lawrence is a starring role in the ace new X-Men film, First Class. Appearing as slinky shapeshifter Mystique with only a layer of blue paint covering her eye-popping curves, it's a part that doesn't leave much to the imagination!
"Nobody looks good blue," laughs the star. "I am very curious to see how I'm going to come off in that suit!" Well we've seen it, and can happily reveal she's being way too modest...
