Katherine Jenkins is an opera singer. To be more specific, she’s a mezzo-soprano classical-popular crossover singer. To be even more specific she’s probably the hottest and tastiest thing to come out of Wales since our second cousin, Gwen cooked up that fabulous daffodil and leek pie last Easter. Cracking stuff. Anyway, this absolute beaut has been singing her way to the top since she decided she’d had enough of modelling in 2000 after winning the Face of Wales competition. Between 2004 and 2008, Blonde Katherine had huge classical chart success with six out of seven of her albums storming to number one. Catch Kathy presenting Popstar to Operastar on ITV 1 this Sunday. Yes, we know opera’s boring, but she sure does wear some saucy dresses.
