八八風災，迫使親人生離死別，災後重建不只是物質上的救濟及生活上的扶持，更重要的是內心的療癒。 為鼓舞災童，真佛宗華光功德會特別在那一年的秋天，規畫了一場中秋餐會暨歌唱比賽，讓那瑪夏鄉的災民在歡唱與歡笑中，暫時忘去傷痛！
