Michael Myers is back in the 9th instalment in the classic Halloween franchise. The incarnation of all that is evil has escaped from the mental institution where he was sent as a 10-year-old after brutally killing his step-father, as well as his elder sister and her boyfriend.
Now, 17 years later, the adult Myers is on the run and heading home to Haddonfield with the intention of finding the baby sister Laurie he left behind. As always, anyone who crosses his path is in mortal danger and the big question is whether his Doctor Sam Loomis can find him before he finds Laurie.
