Cameroon's Roger Milla is the oldest scorer of a World Cup finals goal, having hit the back of the net aged 42 years and 39 days old against Russia in 1994.

Cameroon's Rigobert Song is, alongside Zinedine Zidane, one of two players to be sent off in two World Cups. Song received red cards in 1994 against Brazil and in 1998 against Chile.
